Brazilian, born in Rio de Janeiro and living in Minas Gerais since I was 11 years old. In 2007, on a walk through the city with a friend he pointed to a scene and said "look what a beautiful picture", since then I started to create photographs with scenes I saw on the way. I say that I started to photograph without even having any equipment, wherever I went I couldn't stop, since that walk, to see it in pictures. In 2008 I bought my first camera and started experimenting with recording in the region of Ouro Preto and Mariana.
In the following years I dedicated all the time I could to photograph places where I passed : Ouro Preto, Recife, Salvador, Fortaleza, Amazonia, Belo Horizonte, India, Italy, France, Germany, Czech Republic, Cuba, Argentina and Uruguay. By observing and capturing, I became less distracted by my surroundings. I began to identify and understand myself better thanks to the sensations felt in everything I did.
Also in the city of Ouro Preto I was director of photography for 7 years at a local TV, this allowed me to keep a close eye even when it was not possible to be on the street photographing. I learned in all this time producing images that the composition is a cut of a movement that continues, like a fragmented film that never ends, and it is this film that is always open that allows me the creative daydream. Today my creative gesture goes wherever I am, and for me photography has no name or limits in the face of the incredible possibilities that life offers.
Brésilien, je suis né à Rio de Janeiro et je vis à Minas Gerais depuis l'âge de 11 ans. En 2007, lors d'une promenade en ville avec un ami, celui-ci m'a désigné une scène en disant "regarde quelle belle photo". Dès lors, j'ai commencé à créer des photographies avec des scènes que je voyais quand je marchais. J'aime dire que j'ai commencé à photographier sans même avoir le moindre équipement. Partout où j'allais je ne pouvais plus m'arrêter depuis cette balade de voir continuellement des images. En 2008, j'ai acheté mon premier appareil photo et j'ai commencé à expérimenter dans la région d'Ouro Preto et Mariana.
Au cours des années suivantes, j'ai consacré tout mon temps à photographier les lieux que je visitais : Ouro Preto, Recife, Salvador, Fortaleza, Amazonie, Belo Horizonte, Inde, Italie, France, Allemagne, République tchèque, Cuba, Argentine, Uruguay. En observant et en photographiant, je suis devenu moins distrait par mon environnement. J'ai commencé à mieux me cerner et à me comprendre grâce aux sensations ressenties dans tout ce que je faisais.
Toujours dans la ville d'Ouro Preto, j'ai été directeur de la photographie pendant 7 ans dans une télévision locale et cela m'a permis de garder un œil averti même lorsqu'il n'était pas possible d'être dans la rue pour photographier. J'ai appris pendant tout ce temps à produire des photos et à relever que la composition est l'un arrêt sur image d'un film qui ne se termine jamais, et c'est ce film, restant en suspens qui permet la rêverie créative. Aujourd'hui mon geste créatif émerge où que je sois et pour moi la photographie n'a ni nom ni limite face aux incroyables possibilités qu'offre la vie.
