Marilyn Mugot is a photographer from the Paris suburbs, where she began drawing at an early age. Having entered a graphic design school in her late teens, she soon saw her love of photography supplant her passion for drawing. A film buff, photography is for her a means of making her own scenarios with atmospheres that she invents and imagines. Her ethereal, saturated landscapes are a far cry from the everyday, creating a totally different reality.
Marilyn Mugot est une photographe de la banlieue parisienne, où elle a commencé à dessiner dès son plus jeune âge. Entrée dans une école de graphisme à la fin de son adolescence, elle voit très vite son amour de la photographie supplanter sa passion pour le dessin. Cinéphile, la photographie est pour elle un moyen de réaliser ses propres scénarios avec des ambiances qu'elle invente et imagine. Ses paysages éthérés et saturés sont loin du quotidien, créant une réalité totalement différente.
