Jonathan has specialized in color street photography since 2006, when he got his start in his hometown of Tucson, Arizona U.S.A. In 2010, after exploring Japan as his first trip abroad, his love for candid photography was merged with a new found love of international exploration. Over the course of a few years he decided to leave the U.S.A. and live the life of a minimalist nomadic photographer, traveling full-time with a primary focus on Japan. Since 2018, he has also been working on a long-term photography project based in Cairo, Egypt. The project titled "Cairo: A Beautiful Thing Is Never Perfect" has won numerous awards for both individual photographs as well as the project as a whole, and has been exhibited worldwide.
Jonathan s'est spécialisé dans la photographie de rue en couleur depuis 2006, date à laquelle il a fait ses débuts dans sa ville natale de Tucson, en Arizona, aux États-Unis. En 2010, après avoir exploré le Japon lors de son premier voyage à l'étranger, son amour pour la photographie franche a fusionné avec un nouvel amour trouvé dans l'exploration internationale. Quelques années plus tard, il a décidé de quitter les États-Unis et de vivre la vie d'un photographe nomade, voyageant à plein temps avec une orientation principale en direction du Japon. Depuis 2018, il travaille également sur un projet photographique conséquent au Caire, en Égypte. Le projet intitulé « Le Caire : une belle chose n'est jamais parfaite » a remporté de nombreux prix photographiques, photos uniques et série, et a été exposé dans le monde entier.
