George Koutsouvelis is a self- taught photographer and at the same time he teaches Computer Science in the city of Athens, Greece. He uses Photography as the medium to express his impression of reality. When he photographs, he is more interested in capturing the "feel" and the “atmosphere” of the subject, and not simply recording a fact. Time and place are not important in his frames. His work has been published and showcased in many international exhibitions , private collections, online and printed magazines.
George Koutsouvelis est un photographe autodidacte et enseigne l'informatique dans la ville d'Athènes, en Grèce. Il utilise la photographie comme médium pour exprimer son impression de la réalité. Lorsqu'il photographie, il s'intéresse davantage à capturer une "sensation" et une "atmosphère" émanant du sujet, et non simplement à retranscrire un fait. Le temps et le lieu n'ont pas d'importance dans ses cadres. Son travail a été publié et présenté dans de nombreuses expositions internationales, collections privées, magazines en ligne et imprimés.
