My name is Andrew Gimblet and I am a fine art street photographer from Philadelphia USA. When I am in the streets it is my happy place. I am constantly people watching and looking for a scene. I tend to use atmosphere, light and shadow against the backdrop of my great city to tell whatever story I am conveying. I mainly use my apple iPhone X to shoot in color, though I see only the many shades of blacks, whites and grays as it brings the emotion for me that I would like to share with the world. I tend to shoot a lone figure, finding a connection to represent their feelings.
Je m'appelle Andrew Gimblet et je suis un photographe de rue basé à Philadelphie aux États-Unis. Quand je suis dans la rue, je me sens comme dans mon élément. J'observe constamment les gens et j'attends de trouver la bonne scène. J'ai tendance à capter les atmosphères, jouer avec les ombres et la lumière de la ville afin de raconter au mieux mes histoires. J'utilise principalement mon iPhone X pour photographier en couleur, même si en réalité je suis sensible aux nuances de noirs, de blancs et de gris, elles me procurent des émotions que j'aimerais partager avec le monde. J'ai tendance à photographier les personnages solitaires, en créant une connexion pour représenter au mieux leurs sentiments.
