Born in Sicily in '84, I moved to Bologna where I alternate artistic and psychological studies related to non-verbal communication, the creative process and the externalization of the Self for a deep understanding of being and of the most ancient and present inclinations, which are alive in the human body and soul. The use of a Polaroid allows me to block a precise emotional-sensorial atmosphere over time and to make it palpable in the here and now of the same creative act. My current photographic journey wants to tell stories, lead into oneiric and impressionistic atmospheres with notes of melancholy melodies.
Née en Sicile en 84, j'ai déménagé à Bologne où j'alterne des études artistiques et psychologiques liées à la communication non verbale, au processus créatif et à l'extériorisation du Soi pour une compréhension profonde de l'être, des penchants les plus anciens aux penchants les plus récents, imprimés dans le corps et l'âme de l'Homme. L'utilisation du Polaroid me permet de figer une atmosphère émotionnelle-sensorielle précise dans le temps et de la rendre palpable dans l'ici et maintenant dans un même acte créatif. Mon travail photographique actuel souhaite raconter des histoires, accoucher d'atmosphères oniriques et impressionnistes aux notes de mélodies mélancoliques.
